En este corto animado tenemos la oportunidad de escuchar a Jade, una mujer discapacitada, hablar sobre sus experiencias y vivencias sexuales. Desterrando mitos y estereotipos, la protagonista nos acerca a una realidad muchas veces invisibilizada: la de la necesidad -y la posibilidad- de sentir placer de los cuerpos que escapan de la normatividad corporal.
Sobre un fondo ornamental que cambia en función de las experiencias que se estén narrando, la cara animada de Jade, con profundos y singularmente expresivos ojos azules, sirve de anclaje hipnótico para lo que escuchamos. El descubrimiento del placer, la posibilidad de compartirlo y la visibilización del carácter sexuado de su cuerpo son algunos de los temas que toca el corto. Probablemente, cuando termine, sientas que te gustaría seguir escuchando a Jade durante muchos minutos más.
In this animated short we have the opportunity to listen to Jade, a disabled woman, talk about her sexual experiences. Banishing myths and stereotypes, the protagonist brings us closer to a reality that is often invisible: that of the need - and the possibility - of feeling pleasure from bodies that escape from bodily normativity.
Against an ornamental background that changes according to the experiences being narrated, Jade's animated face, with deep and uniquely expressive blue eyes, serves as a hypnotic anchor for what we hear. The discovery of pleasure, the possibility of sharing it and the visibility of the sexed nature of her body are some of the themes that the short narrates. When it ends, you probably feel like you would like to keep listening to Jade for hours.
