A teenage girl looks around her in the showers of a women's locker room. The diversity is overwhelming, and that look that she used to give to others turns to herself when the girl gets home. Nina, on the other hand, observes Joana as well. Between them the looks seem to contain worlds. The powerful visual energy of this story made it one of the surprises at the last Berlin Festival.

Joana and Nina seem to wonder, each in her own way, if a woman is born or made; Or, seen in another way, what does it mean to be a woman in a world that places so many expectations on us, even conditioning the experience of our own flesh. Facing stereotypes, fears and rejections, the two embark on a journey in which music, shared breakfasts and frenetic dancing in the bedroom become banners of freedom.
