Sinopsis:
Es un día como cualquier otro: Sergei deja su polvoriento estudio en el ático, la enorme puerta se cierra ruidosamente detrás de él y da vida a su última obra de arte, una matrioska tallada.
El joven leñoso está confundido y quiere mirar a su alrededor primero ... pero ... sin ojos eso es bastante difícil, y como el destino lo desea, el muñeco se encuentra con una dama encantadora. Después de un breve e intensivo “conociéndose” su destino se hace realidad. Los dos se enamoran, su cariño crece y se convierte en pasión ardiente. Capa por capa, los amantes se pierden olvidando el tiempo y el espacio, pero en lugar de acercarse, se van alejando gradualmente. Al final, el espacio entre ellos parece casi insuperable. Pero donde hay voluntad, hay una manera, y nuestras muñecas de madera probablemente podrán yacer en brazos inexistentes en unas pocas horas.
It's a day just like any other - Sergei leaves his dusty studio in the attic, the massive door closes loudly behind him and brings his latest work of art, a carved matryoshka, to life. The woody young man is confused and wants to look around first ... but ... without eyes that’s rather difficult - and as fate desires the doll stumbles into an enchanting lady. After a short and intensive “getting to know one another” their destiny comes true. The two fall in love, their affection grows and turns into burning passion. Layer by layer, the lovers lose themselves forgetting time and space, but instead of getting closer, they gradually drift apart. In the end, the space between them seems almost insurmountable. But where there is a will, there is a way - and our wooden dolls will probably be able to lie in the non-existent arms of each other in a few hours.

Julia Alice Ostermann nació en un pequeño pueblo de montaña del Tirol, Austria. Después de completar sus estudios, en 2009 trabajó en la serie de dibujos animados "Gumball" en Studio Soi en Ludwigsburg, Alemania, después de lo cual anhelaba las montañas de regreso a casa, donde ha vivido en Salzburgo desde entonces. En la “Digital Light Factory” (DLF) ha estado animando y diseñando desde 2010 hasta la actualidad. Más recientemente, el primer largometraje de animación en Austria se realizó en el DLF, “Der Rotzbub”, una adaptación cinematográfica del caricaturista Manfred Deix. También está trabajando en sus propios cortometrajes, como "Salvador" y "Layered Love", los cuales se completarán en 2020.
Julia Alice Ostermann was born in a small mountain village in Tyrol, Austria. After completing her studies, in 2009 she worked on the cartoon series "Gumball" at Studio Soi in Ludwigsburg, Germany, after which she longed for the mountains back home, where she has lived in Salzburg ever since. At the “Digital Light Factory” (DLF) she has been animating and designing since 2010 until today. Most recently, the first animated feature film in Austria was made at the DLF, “Der Rotzbub”, a film adaptation by the cartoonist Manfred Deix. She is also working on her own short films, such as "Salvador" and "Layered Love", both of which will be completed in 2020.
