Joan Pauls
Joan Paüls es un joven y establecido director con más de 10 años de experiencia en dirección de cine. Hizo su primer cortometraje a la edad de 17 y durante los próximos años dirigió y escribió más de ocho cortos que dieron la vuelta al mundo siendo nominados en más de 40 festivales con 5 cortos diferentes premiados. Mientras, también realizó con nota el prestigioso Máster en Directing Fiction en Goldsmiths University.
En 2014, co-fundó su propia productora Kill the Film (www.killthefilm.com), abriendo su foco al mundo de los videoclips y los anuncios. Ha dirigido para artistas de primer nivel cómo Madison Mars o Crooked Colours y sellos como Spinnin’ Records o Warner Music. Actualmente vive en Los Angeles para dirigir su primer largometraje basado en su último corto 'Watani: My land'.
Joan Paüls is a young and established director with more than 10 years of experience in film direction. He made his first short film at the age of 17 and during the next few years he directed and wrote more than eight short films that went around the world being nominated in more than 40 festivals with 5 different short films awarded. Meanwhile, he also made a note of the prestigious Master in Directing Fiction at Goldsmiths University.
In 2014, he co-founded his own production company Kill the Film (www.killthefilm.com), opening his focus to the world of video clips and commercials. He has directed for top-level artists such as Madison Mars or Crooked Colors and labels such as Spinnin ’Records or Warner Music. He currently lives in Los Angeles to direct his first feature film based on his latest short film 'Watani: My land'.
