Aunque una erupción volcánica puede ocurrir sin ninguna señal previa, lo más probable es que los volcanes emitan diferentes tipos de advertencias antes de que comience la erupción. Los protagonistas apenas lo vieron venir.

Los volcanes sirven de telón de fondo, geográfico y narrativo, a esta historia conmovedora y poética. A lo largo del metraje, acompañamos a un grupo de amigos que recorren una isla volcánica, adentrándose en las profundidades del paisaje a la vez que en las suyas propias. La inmensidad y la pequeñez, el tiempo y el espacio, se funden con los personajes en este magnético corto donde nada es lo que parece. Porque lo que parecía dormido tan solo rugía bajo la tierra, como el magma de un volcán preparándose para la erupción.
Although a volcanic eruption can occur without any prior signal, volcanoes will most likely issue different types of warnings before the eruption begins. The protagonists barely saw it coming.
The volcanoes serve as the backdrop, geographic and narrative, to this poignant and poetic story. Throughout the footage, we accompany a group of friends touring a volcanic island, delving into the depths of the landscape as well as their own. The immensity and smallness, time and space, merge with the characters in this magnetic short where nothing is what it seems. Because what seemed to be asleep just roared underground, like magma from a volcano preparing to erupt.
Roberto Pérez Toledo was born in Lanzarote, Spain. He is a writer and director,
known for the films "Six points about Emma" (2012), "The weird friends"
(2014) and "Like foam" (2017). He has also written and directed a lot of short
films, such as "The screamers", awarded at festivals around the world.
